Avoiding the void

The collection captures some major features of the Northern identity. Inner emotions lead the direction of movement, their interactions create features of deconstruction translated into visual aesthetics. This collection paves the way to display a diverse and unrestricted use of clothing: It is an experiment with fabric, combining some historical and contemporary elements and some pieces of art (s.a. sculptures). Inspiration and references of the collection come from the traditional fisherman's work clothes and modern contemporary art.
I like to experiment with different techniques and materials. It's very much important to me to find new ways to translate my ideas into materials; not everything has to be very functional or saleable, I see value in a broader context.
